We want to thank you for sharing this wonderful experience with us as we prepare to start another chapter of our lives together. Because you have been such an important part in our lives through your friendship, love, and support we want to share our excitement together with you. In 2009 Patrick transferred from Germany to Martinsburg, WV where he ultimately retired from the Air Force.

Shortly after arriving in West Virginia, he began house hunting. Dave and Judy Souders (Jennifer's neighbors) had started as loan officers with Alcova Mortgage. Someone on base recommended them because of their knowledge on VA loans. Around the same time, Patrick's sister and brother-in-law (Tom Corbley) were working on their own home loan in Green Bay, WI and had questions about VA loans so Patrick put them in touch with Judy. One day while on the phone with Judy, Tom asked her if she had a single daughter or knew of any single women that she could introduce to Patrick. The next time Judy saw Patrick, she asked him what he looked for in a woman? His answer - tolerance. Judy thought of me and asked if I would mind if she gave Patrick my phone number. Of course I wanted more information but all she could tell me was that he was a nice guy, had a dog, and was close to his family! I said, why not? Maybe I will make a new friend!

Patrick said he tried to call me in September of 2009 but I missed his call and he did not leave a message. Months went by and I ran into Judy and mentioned that Patrick had never called. She said that she thought that he had tried to call and then said I was probably going to have to call him. She gave me his number and I called him a few days later. We talked for a few minutes and set up a date at Glory Days restaurant in Charles Town, WV on December 8, 2010. On that night we met, laughed, talked, and shared stories for over 6 hours. Halfway through our first date, Patrick asked me on a second date. I guess the rest is history.

Patrick and Jennifer are getting married by Dr. Tim Dissmeyer on December 8, 2013 in Great Falls National Park in McLean, Virginia. December 8, marks the third anniversary of our first date. It will be a very small ceremony. The thing Patrick and I don't like about traditional weddings is that you don't get to spend alot of time with your guests. We realize that everyone would have to travel for our wedding and don't want everyone to make that long trip for just a few hour celebration. We don't want anyone to feel excluded from our wedding but we want to spend more quatlity time with all of you. This is why we have decided not to invite anyone to our actual wedding but to invite our closest family and friends to a week long get together in the Outer Banks in North Carolina in March 2014!

Now that December 8 has come and gone, we will be updating this website with more information about our March get together! We can't wait to see everyone! We have had so many YES RSVP responses that we had to book TWO houses! I know everyone is going to love these houses! The houses are right next to each other and are completed loaded! The check in time on Saturday the 22nd will be at 5pm and when the time gets closer we will email you the exact addresses! The houses are near Kitty Hawk so if you want to check out the Wright Brothers memorial it is a very short drive! More info to come!

Starting March 22, 2014 get ready for alot of laughs and good times! Sometime during the week long vacation - Patrrick and I will renew our vows in front of family and friends! Once we get all the RSVP's back we will find a house that will accomodate everyone and then notify you by email. As we get more information about the address and check in times, etc.. we will update this site too! We can't wait to see you all there!!!

As of right now, we are looking at Monday March 24, 2014 for our vow renewal!

We have decided to take our honeymoon to the Maldives in 2014. We have booked our flights and are planning on staying at the Meeru Resort and Spa from July 12, 2014 - July 19, 2014! We have everything we could possibly need (we don't need a toaster or towels) so if you would like to get us something, we have set up a honeymoon registery through the resort.
